When is Avengers: Secret Wars?
Date: Friday, December 17, 2027. Status: Scheduled by Marvel Studios (rumors of a change have not been confirmed). When we last checked, on October 12, 2026, that was 431 days away, about 61 weeks, with roughly 309 weekdays in between.
What we know
Avengers: Secret Wars is on Marvel's schedule for Friday, December 17, 2027, one year after Avengers: Doomsday. It's expected to close out the Multiverse Saga, the way Endgame closed the Infinity Saga.
Details worth knowing
Rumor check: some outlets have reported talk that Secret Wars could move because of production timing. As of October 2026 that's a rumor, not an announcement. Marvel's own listing still shows December 17, 2027, and that's the date we count down to. We'll update if Marvel changes it.
Our take
Plot details are under wraps, but in the comics Secret Wars sees whole universes smashed together into Battleworld, ruled by Doctor Doom. Watching Doomsday first is pretty much required homework.
How to get ready
For opening weekend, buy tickets as soon as they go on sale, especially for IMAX and Dolby screens. Weekday matinees are cheaper and quieter if you're not desperate to see it on night one.
Dates for entertainment and sports events can move. We only list dates that have been officially announced or reported by reliable outlets, and we say clearly when something is a rumor. If a date changes, this page gets updated.
